Safeguarding

Safeguarding

We promote safe, inclusive, and diverse living environments for our tenants. Where safeguarding concerns are identified, we will provide confidential and non-judgemental support, to connect with the people and services that can help.

What is safeguarding?

Safeguarding is the action that is taken to promote the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. Safeguarding is about protecting the health, well-being and human rights of an individual and ensuring they can live a life free from harm, abuse or neglect.

How do I report a safeguarding concern?

If you believe someone is at urgent risk, under threat of harm, or a crime is in the process of being committed, call 999 immediately.

For further advice and guidance, you should contact your Local Authority Safeguarding team – Sefton 0345 140 0845 / Liverpool 0151 233 3000.

There may be times when something just doesn’t seem right and you’re not sure whether to report it or not. Our advice is always to share what you’ve heard or seen or are concerned about. If you would like to discuss a safeguarding concern with us, then please send us a message online and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. Alternatively, you can call us on 0151 920 7300.
