Our Board

Our Board is made up of independent members with a diverse range of skills. Together, they are responsible for the work of the organisation. Their role is to set the strategic direction for Crosby HA, ensure we comply with our responsibilities and provide leadership. The everyday running of services is delegated from the Board to the senior management team within a framework of control.

They meet most months for up to 2 hours, with options to attend in person or virtually, and there are occasional business days devoted to strategic development. All of our Board members kindly volunteer their time, skills and experience on an unpaid basis.

We are not currently recruiting for new Board members.

Declaration of Interest

Board members are responsible for declaring any interests that could potentially conflict with their duties. To support transparency and potential conflicts, declarations of interest are a standing item on all board meeting agendas.

The annual declaration process aligns with the NHF Code of Governance 2020, which requires boards to maintain a register of interests for all board members and senior staff. The register also includes staff declarations and is maintained by the HR & Governance Manager. The register is available on request.
