Our Story

We are a small, community based housing association operating in South Sefton. We own just over 400 properties, mostly located in Seaforth and Waterloo.

The Association was formed in 1969 by a group of volunteers committed to changing the appalling housing conditions that faced many local families at the time.

We purchased our first home with money raised through fundraising and soon after set up the Charity Shop
to bring in funds and provide essential items such as clothing and household goods at a very low cost.

Over time we secured housing grants that funded the growth of the Association and enabled us to buy and improve properties that were let to local people. We continue to provide affordable, good quality housing and excellent personal services to our tenants.

Over the past 40 years we have earned a reputation as caring landlord and a key stakeholder partner in Sefton. read more
